40 YEARS TOO LATE POLICE ADMIT SIR CYRIL SMITH WAS A PAEDOPHILE

The Crown Prosecution Service and the GMP Police have been caught out,  and forced to admit Cyril Smith should have been prosecuted 40 years ago.

Prosecutors missed THREE opportunities to bring Cyril Smith to justice over child abuse claims as police concede MP should have been charged

  • Sir Cyril allegedly sexually and physically abused teenage boys under the guise of medical examinations or punishment for misbehaviour
  • Police missed three opportunities to charge former Liberal MP, and say he would be prosecuted if accused today
  • Director of Public Prosecutions at the time said those who accused Smith were of 'suspect character'
  • Smith was secretary of boys' hostel where he was accused of abusing vulnerable youngsters by spanking and touching them from the 1970s

It has taken  them 40 long years to admit this, during which time they turned a blind  eye to the abuse of  children by the evil paedophile honoured with a title.

The Director of Public Prosecutions at the time Sir (why are they always honoured) Norman Skelton  dismissed the child victims as being of “suspect character”.

Well that says it all!  why are people like Sir Norman always placed in positions of power where they can cover-up for elite paedophiles and recommend the prosecution of  whistle-blowers and  vilify victims of abuse.

Let us not be lulled into thinking things have changed. They have not,  it is just that in this case they have been found out.  Elite paedophiles like Derek Laud are still being protected and whistle-blowers like Andrea Davison are still being prosecuted and Victims like Steven Messham are still being vilified.

This new leaf turning by the Crown Prosecution Service  and the Police  has nothing with the Brave Lancashire Special Branch officer  who blew the whistle  and revealed that  a file  "thick full of statements from young boys alleging abuse" was seized by M15 in the 1970s and was never forwarded for prosecution. It was claimed this week that the file was labelled by the director of public prosecutions at the time: "No further action. Not in the public interest. DPP."  read more  M15 and SPECIAL BRANCH  COVER UP  PAEDOPHILE CYRIL... http://google-law.blogspot.com/2012/11/m15-and-special-branch-cover-up.html?spref=tw

The Police and the Crown Prosecution Service and the Courts  knew about Sir Cyril for 40 years. In fact  a whole lot of people knew about Sir Cyril and small magazines published the fact. He was also mentioned by Scallywag.

Front page of the Rochdale Alternative Press  May 1979:

Tom Pride reveals  what happened after the magazine published the article?

Former Liberal MP Sir Cyril Smith sexually and physically abused young boys in the 1960s, police admitted todayIn a story remarkably similar to that we are seeing today, Cyril Smith, a very powerful and wealthy man at the time, quickly announced he was taking out an injunction against Rochdale Alternative Press and threatened to sue them – or anyone else who dared to repeat the allegations – for libel.
The result?

Although Smith didn’t actually take anyone to court, everyone was so terrified of being sued, there was a total gag on any media – a gag which successfully closed down all discussion about the scandal for nearly four decades.   read more http://tompride.wordpress.com/2012/11/27/how-did-cyril-smith-get-away-with-paedophilia-by-threatening-tweeters-and-bloggers-with-libel/

Today one of Smiths victims find the courage to speak out  Chris Marshall says he was a nine-year-old boy at Knowl View school in Rochdale when he was taken to a room and abused by Smith.  read more

One  word 'Cover-up'   and the Cover-up is still going on. Only now the public are aware of how these Government departments,  which they are forced to pay for  through taxes,  operate.

The Crown Prosecution Service and the Police  as a Force are designed to protect the Elite from harm.  They  misuse their power to ensure that whistle-blowers and victims  who might expose the truth are silenced whilst the guilty are protected.

It is time for a total reshuffle at the top of these organisation there are good men and women in the Police and even   some good lawyers but these people rarely reach high position  because they  will not play the game.

We need to make sure that evil predators of children like Cyril Smith never again are protected by the Police and the Crown Prosecution Service for 40 long years.

Three opportunities to charge Sir Cyril Smith over allegations of physical and sexual abuse of boys were missed by prosecutors, it emerged today.
The Director of Public Prosecutions at the time, Sir Norman Skelhorn, dismissed those who accused the former Liberal MP as being of 'suspect character' when he looked at the allegations in 1970.
After 40 years, officers and lawyers have now agreed that Sir Cyril Smith attacked teenage boys and should have been prosecuted.
Last night a GMP spokesman said: 'The Force is now publicly acknowledging that young boys were victims of physical and sexual abuse committed by Smith.
'Three separate files regarding Sir Cyril Smith's actions were passed to first the director of public prosecutions (DPP) and the Crown Prosecution Service although on each occasion no prosecution was pursued.'

  1. Just wanted to thank you for the blog - the MSM seems to be succeeding in ignoring the most important issue here - that of the suffering and psychological destruction of human beings for the sexual gratification of people who care not a damn for the consequences of their actions on the lives of others.

So it's helpful to have a site like this in which you keep people posted of events, and have pertinent commentary on them.

    Keep up the good work.

    Dave.
