Tired of voting for rats vote for a cat

A CAT in Mexico is causing a political storm after being nominated for mayor by fed up voters.

All over the planet people are waking up to the reason they are over-run with crime, kept poor and oppressed.  It is the System which allows rats involved in organised crime to be elevated  over the people.

What started out as a joke between friends has now turned into a serious campaign in Jalapa, the capital of the state of Veracruz, with the slogan: “Tired of voting for rats? Vote for a cat.”
Sergio Chamorro, the moggy’s owner, said: “Morris has become an expression of how fed up people are with all the parties and a political system that does not represent us.”
The catdidate’s Facebook page has more than 130,000 “likes” – significantly more than any other registered candidate.

Mr Chamorro said: “The truth is that Morris no longer belongs to us. He belongs to his fans.”
His campaign group have asked supporters to write his name or draw a cat’s face on the voting paper – even though the votes will not officially count.
The head of Veracruz’s electoral institute has urged members of the public not to waste their votes by spoiling their ballots with support for Morris.
