Keith Vaz and the Mystery of Barnes Common
Elm Guest House on Rocks Lane, Barnes, was at the centre of a paedophile ring in 1982. Boys from Richmond Council-run care homes such as Grafton Close were supplied to Elm Guest House to be abused by VIPs.
As Labour’s prospective parliamentary candidate, you would expect Keith Vaz to have spent a lot of time talking to local residents and asking them about their concerns. Local people had a good idea of what went on at Elm Guest House, as we can see from this extract from a book by Jilly Cooper, a Barnes resident at the time, about conversations she had whilst walking on Barnes Common:
I asked Keith Vaz on twitter if he remembered hearing anything about Elm Guest House at the time:
This is odd, because I would have thought Labour voters and other residents would have complained to him about the badly kept secret of what Elm Guest House was really used for. I’m also surprised there weren’t rumours amongst Richmond Council staff. Keith Vaz did seem to be very well informed about crime on Barnes Common, as this article from a July 1982 edition of Richmond & Barnes Times shows.
Rocks Lane, where Elm Guest House paedophile ring was based, runs through the middle of Barnes Common, where the indecent assaults were happening. It’s very strange indeed that Keith Vaz was aware of one but not the other.
Added to that, Elm Guest House was widely reported for 10 days in 1982 before the cover-up kicked in. Surely this would have led Keith Vaz to ask questions about what was going on in his prospective constituency?
The whole of Westminster in 1982 would have known about Elm Guest House, and the stories would have been passed down through the years to our current set of MPs. It’s about time this collective amnesia stopped, and individual MPs start speaking up about what they knew.
Thank you to spotlightonabuse
I read about an alleged Canning Town gangster "whose criminal network is allegedly so vast that Scotland Yard regards him as “too big' to take on" who the Sunday Times did an expose on http://www.thesundaytimes.co.uk/sto/news/uk_news/Society/article297203.ece, who another apparent former gangster now apparently residing in the USA wrote a book under the name of Horace Silver called Judas Pig about his time as a east London villain.
ReplyDeleteApparently his psychopathic partner in crime used to pick up run aways from Kings Cross, get them hooked on heroin then pimp them out.
And what does this have to do with this article?
DeleteExcellent work. Keith Vaz has made every effort to distance himself from even the most mild of questions about this. Highly suspicious.
ReplyDeleteVery Highly suspicious indeed Charles.!
DeleteI approached Keith Vaz on several occasions asking for help after the Merseyside Police blocked an complaint I made to the IPCC regarding deal-striking between the Force and Local MPs and Councillors which many Officers believe led to the covering up of paedophile activity. Keith Vaz has never once offered any response or voiced concern. I would not allow him near a school or youth centre until he explains himself.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info Sindonax. Vaz is a very suspicious character. How many MP's and Police Officers know about the paedophiles and how many are paedophiles!
DeleteVaz came to Richmond Upon Thames College in the early 80s and did his 'I'm a radical leftie' student-friendly rabble-rousing act. I look at him now and he makes me want to vomit.Doubly so as he appears to be colluding with the Elm Guest House cover up. Maybe his sister Valerie knows a bit more? She also stood for Labour in Richmond. Baroness Tonge also has questions to answer as she was head of the Council when they paid off Louis 'I'm not Louis Minster' Minster, presumably for his role in keeping the supply of children in care going to Elm House. I'd deny that I was him too, if I was him.
ReplyDeleteKeith Vaz is a closet gay, everyone on the gay scene in Leicester going way back knows that..
ReplyDeleteWhat's the relevance of this claim?
DeleteSo, Anonymous, KidsForCashUK is researching a Leicester-based child sex abuse case. Can you add anything about the scene in Leicester? We're particularly interested in a possible link between the public toilets on Victoria Park, the Jolly Miller public house and a number of closet gay social workers. We surmise that Frank Beck wasn't on his own.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be suprised if Keith Vaz is the senior serving labour MP recently mentioned in the press that is being investigated for sexual offences. No wonder he supported keeping alleged perpetrators names out of the press. He must have been covering up for himself.
ReplyDeleteLeicestershire Constabulary know all about Keiths historical activities and covered them up.
